- Barbecue grates should be cleaned after use, or they will deteriorate and need replacing.
- If using a cover, BE SURE your barbecue is completely cool before covering it.

- Place on a firm, level, non-flammable surface; not recommended on wooden decks.
- Never leave the BBQ grill unattended. Keep children and pets at a safe distance.
- Do not overload with charcoal. Never use gasoline, petrol, white spirit, or other flammable accelerants to light or revive the fire.
- Never touch the BBQ grill while it is burning or even immediately after the fire is out.
- Most metal parts become extremely hot. Use protective gloves when handling. Allow the BBQ grill to cool completely before touching or moving.
- Consider wind direction to prevent ash dispersal. Ensure the overhead area is clear of branches or overhangs.
